At देशSutram, every product is carefully handcrafted and packed with attention to detail. We aim to deliver your order safely and within a reasonable timeframe.

Shipping Timelines

  • Orders are shipped throughout the week
  • Once dispatched:
    • Within India: 3–5 working days
    • International orders: 5–10 working days (depending on location)
  • As most of our products are handmade, dispatch timelines may vary slightly based on product readiness.
  • Once your order is dispatched, tracking details will be shared via WhatsApp and email, allowing you to monitor your shipment until delivery.

Shipping Partners

We primarily ship through Delhivery and other trusted logistics partners depending on the delivery location and service availability.

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on location and order value.

Customs & Duties (International Orders)

  • Most international orders are shipped on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis, meaning:
    • You typically do not have to pay additional customs duties.
  • In rare cases where duties are charged:
    • You may be required to pay them at delivery
    • We will review and may issue store credit for the duty amount

Order Packaging

  • Multiple products in a single order are usually shipped in one package.
  • If you prefer separate packaging, additional charges may apply.

Delays & Exceptions

While we strive to deliver on time, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Logistics issues
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Public holidays or strikes

For certain remote areas, courier partners may apply an additional remote area surcharge, which will be communicated in advance.

Important for International Orders

  • Some shipments may require additional documents (ID, tax details, etc.) for customs clearance.
  • If these are not provided on time, the shipment may be returned.
  • In such cases, the order amount may not be refundable.
